Abstract
⺠PKC-ι co-localizes and directly associates with Bad in glioma cells. ⺠PKC-ι directly phosphorylates Bad at Ser-112, Ser-136 and Ser-155. ⺠Knockdown of PKC-ι leads to reduction in Bad phosphorylation. ⺠PI (3)-kinase and PDK1 inhibition blocks PKC-ι activity. ⺠PI (3)-kinase/PDK1/PKC-ι/Bad cell survival pathway in glioblastoma
