Abstract
⺠Jasmonic acid (JA) and its derivatives occur organ-specifically in flowers. ⺠JA biosynthesis genes are differentially expressed in flower organs. ⺠JA-induced defense gene expression occurs in some flower organs. ⺠OPDA accumulates in tomato seed coat and is required for proper embryo development.
