Abstract
⺠Structural difference between the monomeric and the trimeric TNF-α was investigated. ⺠Conformation formed by Cys101-Trp114 between the two forms was different. ⺠Hydrophobic cavity in the region was essential for the trimeric TNF-α conformation.
