Abstract
⺠Multiple structural alignment based on the representation of backbone conformation as 1D sequence of alphabets. ⺠Progressive alignment similar to widely used ClustalW method, followed by structure-based refinements. ⺠Structural flexibility has minimal effect on 'sequence-like' alignments. ⺠Better performance when compared to classical structure comparison techniques.
