Abstract
⺠Ferrocene (Fc) is a chemically stable and nontoxic molecule with excellent redox properties. ⺠Fc-conjugates can act as electrochemical sensors for the detection of glutathione S-transferase (GST). ⺠Thermodynamic and voltammetric studies have been done with Fc-SG derivatives and GST. ⺠The Fc-SG conjugates are strong GST competitive inhibitors.
