Abstract
⺠We examined potential DNA bending of interstrand cross-links induced by diepoxybutane. ⺠Cross-linked DNA had anomalously low electrophoretic mobility in native polyacrylamide gels. ⺠Our findings are consistent with DNA bending of â¼34° per lesion towards the major groove.
