Abstract
⺠Sustained aggregation of platelets in the presence of calcium degraded β-catenin. ⺠β-catenin degradation was not observed in absence of aggregation. ⺠Proteolysis was blocked partially by inhibitors of both calpain and proteasome. ⺠Inhibition of PKC precluded β-catenin degradation, suggestive of role of PKC.
