Abstract
► C-Terminal region elimination does not affect the globularity of NDH-2. ► The overall structure of Trun-3 resembles the wild-type NDH-2 at 30 °C. ► The absence of C-terminal region stabilized Trun-3 conformation in ∼5-10 °C. ► C-Terminal region improves enzymatic activity, probably by enhancing FAD binding. ► Experimental data agree with the predicted NDH-2 structure (PDB: 1OZK).
