Abstract
⺠A new calmodulin-like protein, FhCaM3, has been identified in Fasciola hepatica. ⺠FhCaM3 is predicted to fold like calmodulin, with a bulge in the central helix. ⺠FhCaM3 binds calcium ions and the calmodulin antagonists trifluoperazine and W7. ⺠FhCaM3 is located in vitelline tissue and eggs.
