Abstract
⺠Tributyltin (TBT) desensitizes mussel mitochondrial Mg-ATPase to FO inhibitors. ⺠The mechanisms of the enzyme desensitization to DCCD and oligomycin are different. ⺠The desensitization to DCCD is temperature dependent and independent of thiols. ⺠Incorporated TBT could destabilize DCCD binding to the enzyme structure.
