Identification of the subcellular localization of mycobacterial proteins using localization motifs

► A sequence feature discovery-based approach was used for predicting the subcellular localization of mycobacterial proteins. ► Compared with existing methods, ours greatly improves the accuracy of subcellular localization prediction. ► It is the first report to annotate experimental data of Mycobacterial immunogenum antigens rapidly and accurately. ► It will allow us to screen candidates identified by experimental researchers for new drug targets and vaccine candidates.
