Abstract

âº The RNA binding protein HuD binds to the light chain of microtubule associated protein MAP1B (LC1). âº LC1 directly associates with HuD via C-terminal region. âº HuD, even in the RNA-bound form, can form a complex with LC1. âº HuD tightly associates with microtubules through the interaction with LC1.
