Abstract

âº EGCG is readily converted in a ring-fission derivative under cell culture conditions. âº EGCG derivative maintains biological activity. âº EGCG and its derivative differently inhibit proteasome activities in vitro. âº EGCG derivative shows EGCG-like properties, prolonging EGCG efficacy in HeLa cells.
