Abstract
⺠The plant lectin from Cicer arietinum root is a novel LPS-binding lectin. ⺠It specifically binds to LPS from nodulating mesorhizobial strain. ⺠To our knowledge this is the first report for the presence of a LPS specific lectin in plant.
