Abstract
⺠This is the first observation of oscillations in MAPK/PI3K signalling in breast cancer cells. ⺠A combined experimental and computational approach reveals likely regulatory models. ⺠These include receptor overexpression, transcriptional control, and pathway crosstalk. ⺠The core transcriptional regulatory motif responsible for oscillations is enriched for DUSPs. ⺠The study highlights the benefits of using a combined theoretical and experimental approach.
