Abstract
⺠We exploited a new function of mycotoxin, patulin, in colorectal cancer cells. ⺠Patulin induced both EGR-1 phosphorylation and ATF3 accumulation in the cells. ⺠Patulin effect is associated with G1/S accumulation and apoptosis. ⺠Collectively, patulin could be a candidate for the treatment of colorectal cancers.
