Abstract
⺠BMP signaling inhibition by Dorsomorphin (DM) abrogates mitotic arrest. ⺠TGF-β signaling inhibition by SB431542 does not abrogate mitotic arrest. ⺠DM, noggin and SMAD1, 5, 4 knockdown downregulate checkpoint proteins. ⺠BMP and Activin signaling regulate mitotic checkpoint protein levels differentially. ⺠Overexpressing some mitotic genes significantly rescues mitotic defect caused by DM.
