Abstract
⺠TPX2 acts as a co-activator protein for Aurora B kinase. ⺠TPX2 serves as a scaffold protein for assembly of the Chromosomal Passenger Complex. ⺠Overexpression of TPX2 B causes mitotic defects that reflect Aurora B inhibition. ⺠The levels of TPX2 correlate with Aurora B activity in pancreatic cancer cells.
