Abstract
⺠We discovered novel roles of JAK3 in myogenic differentiation. ⺠JAK3 inhibition enhances formation of multinucleated myotubes. ⺠Inhibition of JAK3 increases expressions of muscle specific genes and IGF-II. ⺠JAK3 inhibition regulates activities of STAT1 and STAT3 in myogenic differentiation. ⺠ERK and PI3K/AKT pathways are also regulated by JAK3 inhibition.
