Abstract
⺠Not2 and 3/5 form a functional module of the conserved Ccr4-Not complex. ⺠In the nucleus it associates with promoters and with specific transcription factors. ⺠In the cytoplasm it is associated with translating ribosomes. ⺠In the cytoplasm it also contributes to regulate mRNA deadenylation. ⺠Its dual position allows integration of signals between cytoplasm and nucleus.
