Abstract
⺠The role of RalA downstream of Rac1 in insulin signaling is examined in muscle cells. ⺠An activated RalA mutant could induce GLUT4 translocation. ⺠Downregulation of RalA inhibited GLUT4 translocation by Rac1 or its regulator. ⺠An activated form of Rac1 induced activation and re-localization of RalA in the cell.
