Abstract
► The role of RalA downstream of Rac1 in insulin signaling is examined in muscle cells. ► An activated RalA mutant could induce GLUT4 translocation. ► Downregulation of RalA inhibited GLUT4 translocation by Rac1 or its regulator. ► An activated form of Rac1 induced activation and re-localization of RalA in the cell.
