Abstract
⺠Phospholipase Cε is a multifunctional enzyme that responds to inputs downstream of GPCRs and RTKs. ⺠Phospholipase Cε is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for small GTPases such as Rap. ⺠Phospholipase Cε is a central participant in a novel cAMP-and Epac-dependent signaling module. ⺠Subcellular scaffolding of phospholipase Cε allows it to regulate specific functions. ⺠Phospholipase Cε regulates cardiac, pancreatic, and kidney functions as well as inflammation.
