Abstract
⺠Bax suppresses cell invasion by reducing mitochondrial ROS levels. ⺠These actions of Bax are blocked via its binding to Bcl-w. ⺠Such functions of Bcl-w and Bax are mimicked by Bcl-XL and Bak, respectively. ⺠This suggests a tight link between cellular viability and invasiveness.
