Abstract

âº Stick insect hemocytes contain NOS. âº NO decreases stick insect heart rate. âº NO regulation is likely mediated through cyclic GMP. âº Effects of NO on the stick insect are different compared to other insects. âº NO has similar effects on the cardiac activity of stick insects and vertebrates.
