Abstract
⺠We examine two pathways implicated in IL-8 secretion from bronchial cells. ⺠Glucocorticoids reduce inflammation in cystic fibrosis lung cells. ⺠p38 MAPK controls IL-8 release and also glucocorticoid receptor activation. ⺠A synergistic effect of glucocorticoid and p38 inhibitor is observed on IL-8 release.
