Abstract
âºEzrin/radixin/moesin (ERM) proteins mediate endothelial barrier enhancement by S1P. âºS1P stimulates ERM phosphorylation on a regulatory threonine residue. âºThis phosphorylation is dependent on several PKC isoforms, p38, and Rac. âºERM proteins differentially regulate endothelial cytoskeletal structure after S1P. âºRadixin promotes S1P barrier effects while moesin inhibits them.
