Abstract
- Three common GC haplotypes are determined by SNPs at c.1296 (rs7041) and c.1307 (rs4588) positions.
- We developed GC genotyping method by melting analysis with a dual hybridization probe.
- The locked nucleic acid-incorporating probe was used for improving mismatch discrimination.
- As compared with the DNA probe, the Tm values with the LNA probe were more uniformly distributed.
- The frequencies of six GC genotypes in Japanese population were determined.
