Abstract
⺠We evaluated proteolytic events underlying type 1 diabetes and related complication through zymography. ⺠Urine and saliva can be useful for the monitoring of type-1 diabetes-related proteolytic events. ⺠Aminopeptidase N, azurocidin and kallikrein 1 can be targets for type 1 diabetesârelated complications.
