Abstract
⺠We performed a meta-analysis to estimate the diagnostic power of MR-proANP for HF. ⺠Five studies with over all sample size of 973 HF patients and 1584 non-HF patients were included. ⺠MR-proANP had a diagnostic sensitivity of 0.92 and a specificity of 0.64. ⺠MR-proANP was a particularly strong specific diagnostic marker for HF in patients with dyspnea. ⺠The combination use of MR-proANP and BNP/NT-proBNP may improve diagnostic power.
