Abstract
⺠Des-Leu albumin is a truncated form of albumin formed in pancreatitis. ⺠We have developed a LC-MS/MS method for quantifying this protein. ⺠Des-Leu albumin is the major form of albumin present in patients with pancreatitis. ⺠This protein is a potential novel biomarker for chronic pancreatitis.
