Abstract
⺠Collection tube interference on testosterone quantitation by LC-MS/MS was examined. ⺠Significant interferences were found in some types of blood collection tubes. ⺠The interference was attributed to the separator gel polymer. ⺠Examination of blood collection tube must be part of development of LC-MS/MS assays.
