Abstract
⺠Protein flexibility spans a continuum, from intrinsically disordered to folded. ⺠Protein conformational changes upon binding correlate with free-state flexibility. ⺠Free states of proteins show widely varying resemblance to bound states. ⺠Proteins can increase or decrease in flexibility upon binding.
