Abstract
⺠We give a summary of the current literature on POLQ. ⺠We discuss the sequence features of POLQ and its biochemical properties. ⺠The role for POLQ in various DNA repair pathways is discussed. ⺠We suggest POLQ may be an intriguing drug target in breast cancer.
