Abstract
⺠We generated recF, recO and recR disruptants and characterized disruption effects. ⺠The RecF, RecO and RecR play an important role in cell growth. ⺠RecR may be involved in the incoming DNA stability during transformation. ⺠RecF plays a critical role for RecA activation to initiate the DNA repair process.
