Abstract

âº MDC1 is ubiquitylated by K-63 linked poly-ubiquitin chains. âº The tandem BRCT domain of human MDC1 is ubiquitylated on K-1977. âº MDC1 and RAP80 directly interact in a UBC13-dependent manner. âº The MDC1-RAP80 interaction requires the tandem BRCT domain of MDC1 and the ubiquitin-interacting motifs of RAP80.
