Abstract
⺠Intermittent hypoxic exposures cause reduced body temperature and O2 consumption. ⺠PFK and PK activities in the brain during hypoxic exposures undergo hypometabolic changes. ⺠Complex I activity in the brain during hypoxic exposures is decreased. ⺠ATP levels and energy charge is preserved in hypoxic exposures. ⺠Brain structures are protected in hypoxic exposures.
