Abstract
⺠The study was designed to compare dynamic blood flow autoregulation in the central retinal artery and the posterior ciliary arteries. ⺠Autoregulatory response was induced by a step decrease in blood pressure. ⺠Blood flow velocities were measured by color Doppler sonography. ⺠Our data indicate that central retinal artery shows better autoregulatory properties as the posterior ciliary arteries.
