Abstract
► The study was designed to compare dynamic blood flow autoregulation in the central retinal artery and the posterior ciliary arteries. ► Autoregulatory response was induced by a step decrease in blood pressure. ► Blood flow velocities were measured by color Doppler sonography. ► Our data indicate that central retinal artery shows better autoregulatory properties as the posterior ciliary arteries.
