Abstract
⺠Fractal analysis introduces 3 new parameters to evaluate skin blood flow regulation. ⺠Their values can be used to identify the impairment in the involved mechanisms. ⺠We found different values in essential hypertensive (EHT) patients compared with control. ⺠Our results suggest that the local and the cushioning peripheral vascular functions are impaired in EHT patients.
