Abstract
⺠In this study we examine the effects of Hcy and FA on embryonic angiogenesis. ⺠Extra embryonic vascular development and VEGF expression were determined. ⺠FA has no significant effect. ⺠Hcy inhibits angiogenesis, VEGF expression and alters vascular bed composition. ⺠These effects may be implicated in cardiovascular defects induced by Hcy.
