Abstract
► The present study used an organ culture method of rat basilar artery. ► Minimally modified LDL upregulates ETB receptors in rat basilar artery. ► PKC, ERK and NF-κB inhibitors abrogate the upregulation. ► The receptor upregulation occurs via PKC, MAPK and NF-κB signal pathways.
