Abstract
⺠We evaluated expression of VEGF and its soluble receptor (sFlt-1) in endometriosis. ⺠VEGF and sFlt-1 levels in peritoneal fluids were increased in endometriosis. ⺠VEGF and sFlt-1 expressions in peritoneal tissues were increased in endometriosis. ⺠sFlt-1 expression in endometrium was decreased in patients with endometriosis. ⺠Aberrant expression of VEGF and its receptor seems to be involved in endometriosis.
