Abstract
⺠> Class III β-tubulin identifies angiogenic perivascular cells.⺠> Our understanding of vascular pericytes in angiogenesis is limited. ⺠> We show that class III β-tubulin is expressed by perivascular cells only during angiogenesis. ⺠> Class III β-tubulin expression by perivascular cells correlates with capillary sprouting. ⺠There is a need for long term high resolution monitoring using a standard methodology.
