Abstract
⺠Volumetric morphometry of basal ganglia in early-treated PKU was examined using MRI. ⺠Consistent with past research, whole brain volume was decreased in the PKU group. ⺠Putamen volume was found to be significantly enlarged in the PKU group. ⺠Putamen volume was correlated with blood phe levels and IQ in the PKU group.
