Abstract
⺠Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs), in particular, PPARα and γ, regulating lipid and carbohydrate metabolisms, and anti-oxidant and anti-inflammation systems in Wilson's disease (WD) were examined for the first time. ⺠PPARα and γ expressions were decreased and increased, respectively, according to the progression of liver damage of WD. ⺠PPARα and γ expressions were associated with steatosis and anti-oxidant system in WD.
