Abstract
⺠CHIPS demonstrated very high utility for mutation screening of clinical genetics. ⺠CHIPS can apply to autosomal dominant, recessive and X-linked inheritance diseases. ⺠CHIPS detected all DNA variations with 100% sensitivity and specificity. ⺠This low-technology system is comparable to recent new-technology machines. ⺠CHIPS is ready to use and potentially disseminate to any laboratories in the world.
