Abstract
⺠Severely obese individuals show low-grade inflammatory state. ⺠Variability of the inflammatory profile assessed by CRP levels was observed. ⺠SNPs in IFI30, CD163, CXCL9 and TSLP were tested for association with CRP levels. ⺠Significant association between IFI30 rs11554159 and CRP levels was identified. ⺠IFI30 SNPs could contribute to the variability of CRP levels in obesity.
