Abstract
⺠Nitric oxide has dose-dependent and paradoxical effects on mPTP. ⺠High concentration NO opened mPTP and this was related to disulfide bound formation. ⺠Low concentration NO prevented mPTP opening and this was related to S-nitrosylation.
