Abstract
► Induction chemotherapy for ALL markedly supresses blood NTproCNP concentrations. ► Plasma NTproCNP rebounds rapidly after ceasing short courses of steroids. ► Plasma NTproCNP concentration was significantly correlated with height velocity. ► NTproCNP has potential as a biomarker of glucocorticoid-induced bone toxicity.
