Abstract
⺠Streptozotocin (STZ) treatment diminishes retinal expression of PACAP and VIP. ⺠STZ-induced diabetes decreases Bcl2 and increases p53 expression in retina. ⺠Intravitreal PACAP restores Bcl2 and p53 levels to control values.
