Abstract
⺠Dipeptidyl-peptidase IV (DPPIV) induces lipid accumulation and PPAR-( expression. ⺠Vildagliptin inhibits the stimulatory role of DPPIV on adipogenesis. ⺠The adipogenic effect of DPPIV occurs through NPY cleavage and NPY Y2 activation.
